I have decided to rate these sites from 1-5, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best.

I was going to add descriptions, but it would get too crowded here on the sidebar.

So, I'll be doing posts at The Web 2.0 Official Blueprint Blog on the various social networking sites listsed here.

Hint: The ability to add lots of links ups the ranking, hoever, lack of "socializing" lowers the ranking. This is where the 2-3 range usually comes in.

What Is This Place All About, Anyway?

Well, here's the deal...

I started my online marketing career almost 3 years ago (full-time, anyway) and at that point, I knew I had a lot to learn. 

I just didn't realize at the time just HOW much.

To make a long story short, I started out as an affiliate marketer. I, like many others, had heard horror stories and misinformation about network marketing MLM so I wanted no part of it. 

I knew that I needed to build a website of some sort and I kept hearing that I needed to build a list.

I didn't even know what HTML was!

But, I was bound and determined to figure this Internet marketing thing out. So, I worked my butt off and absorbed as much knowledge as I could as fast as I could.

I, like many people I talk to on a regular basis, was working on a shoestring budget at the time.

To make a long story short, I was, and still am, completely sickened by all of the "gurus" out there trying to sell you and I "the dream." Meanwhile, we end up with some fluff filled ebook that leaves us even more confused, and...

Ripe for an upsell claiming to make everything clear.

I vowed that as soon as I had enough experience, knowledge, and success in my own business, I would start a revolution.
